Power Piston Spring ID
« on: January 22, 2019, 05:47:31 PM »
I purchased a kit from Cliff's. My 350 is running 16-17" vacuum at idle. Which spring color should I start with?
I should use a spring half my vacuum? Which color would this spring be as no ID came with them.

Thanks

Jeff

Thanks Sonny, with 17" vacuum at idle and a heavy car 75 Supreme Cutlass with an 200R4 Over drive tranny with 3:42 gears, I would think I should be trying the 10" first. Always go back the 8" if needed.

Thoughts?

Jeff

No black spring in our kit, but there is a dark blue and it is the strongest spring in there.  I'd use the dark blue one for what you are doing......Cliff
