Cliff...while searching EBay, I notice the early 70s Oldsmobile qjets have the hot air choke attachment, will this swap on my early 70s divorced type(Buickcaddychevy)collection?? I see there are easy conversions to convert the hot air to electric...Thx, Mike
Cliff Ruggles:
Those convert easily to electric choke.

This is our e-choke kit, comes with a USA made electric choke designed for the Q-jet so it clocks with the terminal down, so no air cleaner base interference.
Also has the connector for the wiring harness.....Cliff

Cliff...if I swap the 1973 Olds hot air assembly over to my 1973 Buick/ect, can I keep the Buick dashpot and secondary link arm? Thx,Mike
Cliff Ruggles:
That's not a bolt on conversion. The main body will need to be drilled for the choke pull-off bracket. There is not "boss" for the holes so it doesn't sit flat against the main casting. I've seen a few done in that fashion but not overly fond of that conversion.......Cliff
