BIG Delco book owners ???
« on: October 15, 2020, 07:58:30 AM »
I aquired a #9 Delco carb book and have only pages through it briefly. What might I expect for info from this. I know application, small parts ect. Any reference to rods/jets, main air bleeds, idle air bleeds etc.?
Any chance it would tell me if a 7043251 is 74 H/O application?

Thanks. Doug

You will find part numbers on service parts, no bleeds or restrictions info.
Check Index "C" Bulletins for application.
7043251 is an Olds&Cutlass 455 unit for A/T.

Delco had a yearly subscription service.  They mailed-out updates now 'n' then.

Far as I know, the updates ended in the mid '90s.  How new is the info in your "#9" manual?

Go into an AC-Delco store now, and they have no idea that these manuals even existed.  I have three sets.
#1.2 for electrical--batteries, generators, starters, relays, voltage regulators, etc.

#9 for carbs/TBI injection

#??? for Brakes (disc, drum, hydraulic systems including valving)

I can't seem to post a photo.

Demand compensation from Communist China for the damage done by the Virus Originating in the Wuhan Lab, released (intentionally or negligently) into the world in 2019 (VOWL-19).  Trillions of dollars, plus direct compensation to individuals for medical bills, and "wrongful death" settlements.

Bulletin print dates from 71-87. The more I look the more I find. Any references out there that spec out rod and jet part numbers to sizes?  If in #9 book, havent found them yet.
