So I have decided to go ahead a set this carb up for my 455. Currently it has the smaller 2bbl cam. When I redo the cam I will retune the carb. I did find that the primary rods are 49v which I can’t find on any charts. Would these be comparable to the 49b used on early Olds big block cars? What suggestions do you have for rods jets combo?  Also what size idle tubes and DCR’s would I need? Should I set it up close to a stock carb for my motor or is there better options? I was thinking the 49v primary rods with 70 jets and the CV secondary rods, .052 for the DCR and .037 idle tubes. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
