Can a 1708 ( three screw )baseplate be used/substituted to replace a damaged
1705 (two) screw baseplate? Or the other way around? LOL... It seems the baseplate to main gaskets are the same....thank you.

I've seen it done on remanufactured carbs sent here. Not overly fond of the miss-match so use the correct baseplates here when I build them.....
