I saw that recently on the Corvette Forum.

Looks like Edelbrock has taken many of the flaws and things lacking with the Holley design and added and improved them.

Too bad they couldn't do anything with the accl pumps on the bottom of the bowls (very dangerous leak point) and the 10 or so other places they can leak below the fuel level.........

I cringe when I see a GM musclecar with a Holley slapped on it.

I cringe when I see the cut factory metal fuel line and rubber hose/clamps used to install aftermarket carburetors.  They don't even take the time to put a "bulge" in the metal line to keep the hose from slipping off.....very dangerous!......

X2!  Especially when it is so easy to bend and flare NiCopp line.

On rubber lines I use a double flair  but dont bend the double back in so It makes a nice smooth little bump. Works good.

Good plan.  At a minimum there needs to be a "bulge" in the metal line to keep the rubber hose from slipping off and pumping fuel all over the engine compartment........
