'75 Eldorado Quadrajet Hot Start Issue

Hello!
I recently had the engine rebuilt, and am working on tuning the carb in. I seem to be having a bit of a hot start issue, where, after reaching operating temperature, when I turn off the car I have to floor the gas while cranking to get it to start, then hold the accelerator a bit to keep it from die-ing. Additionally, I'm sensing some slight hesitation on acceleration from a stop, like it bogs and staggers slightly before picking up. No cold start issues - starts right up on two pumps.

Note: I did rebuild the carb, but the accelerator pump and float are not Cliff's (didn't find you until later), so possible issue there

Note 2: The car was sitting ~6 months while the engine was rebuilt...I'm on my second tank of premium gas, but I suppose there's potential for some old gas getting coughed up and causing an issue.

Any recommendations on what to check next?

I'd start by installing one of my rebuild kits, then you can eliminate the possibility of defective and incorrect parts being installed.

Difficult if not near impossible to troubleshoot carb issues otherwise........Cliff
