7/8 and 1 inch fuel inlet fittings to check for leaks

Mr.Pontiac:
Cliff I want to make a 7/8 and 1 inch fuel inlet nuts with a vacum fitting nipple on the end for checking for leaks and to make sure needle and seat holds.What’s the best way of doing this? RUSSEL or anybody make a screw inverted flare for these nuts?

Cliff Ruggles:
Much easier and less expensive to get the brass fuel filter housings and tap them for 3/8" NPT threads.  Then you can easily adapt them for vacuum or pressure testing as NPT is far more "universal" than 3/8" inverted flare.......
