17057213 carb for Pontiac

I found a unused 17057213 carb that I would like to use on my 67 Lemans. here are the engine specs- spc-7 cam ,68 #16 heads,30 over bore with crappy 8 eyebrow pistons.3 speed dearborn trans, 3.36 gear in 10 bolt axle. This car will not be a racer,just a good driving street car. can anybody
suggest rebuild parts for this carb to make this a happy combo? thanks for any help  jb

Cliff Ruggles:
That is an excellent carb, but the divorced choke is different that what was used on a Pontiac carb.  It will need a slight recalibration for what you are doing.  It's also side fuel inlet, not front like a Pontiac carb.

If you want to use it call me at the shop.  I can put together a kit with tuning parts to set it up exactly for what you are doing.  I'm here 7am-4pm, M-F EST...tks..
