Quick quiz on plating parts.

Pav8427:
When plating throttle shafts and assorted parts, are you guys blasting the teflon coating off??
Is there a decent home brew that will remove it if need be??

Cliff Ruggles:
If the green coating is in good shape on the shafts you have the option of leaving it and just plating the exposed end pieces.  It usually takes a bead blaster to remove it, then the shafts can be zinc plated as well......
