I've looked at a few Cadillac carbs since I posted this both my own and on ebay. And I came to the conclusion that Cad carbs are the worst for being "rebuilt" into something else. I assume there was not the demand for them in the marketplace and most of the ones I find on ebay have been rebuilt with at the very least a chevrolet baseplate and sometimes a different airhorn as well. It appears to be difficult to find an unmolested Cadillac Qjet.
Just FYI the one in my first picture with the button on the airhorn was drilled for HIC but did not have the valve in place. Another one I have was completely destroyed by someone drilling a hole into that cavity from the front of the airhorn an glueing a vacuum port into it.
A third one has the cavity but is not drilled for either HIC or the button. Only one of these three have a Cadillac baseplate.
