Hello all,
I have a couple 1966 carbs here that came with my 1966 Toronado. One is the original 7036250 (AIR, California car) and the other appears to be a 66' serv replacement carb.
My original has what I think is an idle air bleed adjustment screw under a triangular metal clip that is retained around the vent tube on the top of the air horn. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the only difference between the AIR Qjet air horn (7036250) and the non-AIR air horn Qjet (7026250) for 1966.
My service replacement carb doesn't have this screw. What is the point of this screw? I don't see any adjustment specs for it in the Delco manual so I was wondering where it should be set? Also, how much of an issue would it be using a carb on my engine without that adjustment?
Thanks!
