1971 Olds 455 Air horn
« on: April 01, 2023, 01:17:53 PM »
Need to know what air horn(s) will will work on a 7041251 for a '71 Olds 455. Current horn is fine except for accelerator pump lever pivot. Has a big screw in it instead of the rolled pin.

Although many will fit the best option is always to find one from the same carburetor part number.

In the case of the Olds 7041251 you'll find 1970-74 Olds tops pretty much the same as far as how they are set up.  There still can be minor differences in them, upper airbleed size and some may use primary POE, etc.

You'll also find that any top you find that fits may be warped some, or not warped the same as the one being replaced, so it may not fit well enough to seal off the gaskets without flattening it some.....
