Can you tell me which kit you’d recommend?  Also, is it possible to put an electric choke on that unit?  The original set up was the kind that comes off the manifold with the heat stove?

I should have had an electric choke. Did somebody cobble something together?

Not sure. I’m not the original owner but would say that is what happened.

quadrajam:
An electric choke will drop right in, no problem. Other than being ugly the dual shot solenoid
and valve are harmless. Just dont wire it up.
