Modifying E4M

Mlcdc1:
Read info in Cliff’s book (page 14) that after modifying, the E4Ms make a good carb but not sure of the details that he recommends to make that happen. I’d appreciate some direction with this. Hoping to retro fit for 1977 GMC C-15 with stock (original) 350. Thanks.
