The upper idle air bleeds are in the float bowl. In my particular carb (the 703) they are adjustable, however, using a small screw in the airhorn. It's the screw in the vent tower that you often see a triangular metal clip covering it up.

Thanks.  So in this case, more air would / could be added above the upper IAB via adjustment of the screw?

Hi Kenth, I don't suppose you have any data on the service replacement for this carb? I'd like to compare the two. The PN of the service replacement would be 7041312. Thanks again!

Kenth:
Only pri jets #71, rods #44, sec. rods AU, power piston spring #7029922.

The SR 7041312 is the exact style as the original, so i would be surprised if not the air bleeds and rest of calibration would be the same.
