17080213
Pav8427:
I picked up a fairly complete 17080213 core in decent shape. Looks like it has remnants of a rebuilder sticker.
My big Delco book doesnt go this new.
Can anyone confirm if the main parts are all correct for this carb number?
If this is a Franken carb, I will just call it a parts unit.
Airhorn casting number- 17064872
Main body casting number- 17061829
Throttlebody casting number- 17064872
Thank you.
Doug.
GSP7:
I have a 17080213 Im presently rebuilding and about to put back together
The numbers on my three pieces arent the same at all and none start with 170xxxxx
Airhorn 64601 T
main body 63878 R
base plate 73827 B
For what ever its worth. Or if those numbers are even supposed to be cast numbers and match on every carb per carb number
GSP7:
Id like to know the answer too
So does anyone know the real story about the numbers stamped into each of the 3 carb pieces?
Kenth:
Casting numbers are often used on a lot of different units of the same or more years and design.
The stamped numbers are used for a very specific application.
Pav8427:
Stamped numbers are:
Airhorn-64601R
Main body-63878T
Throttlebody-73827W
So a match except letters.
Mine has a build date of 0952.
And plant code of CPX
