Air horn/Top gasket thickness

Air horn/Top gasket thickness...

I got two from Cliff in my "kit", a thin one, and a thicker one.

Does the thickness of the air horn gasket used effect anything ?

 (Also I have a old old Sorrensen rebuild kit from 2011 that I never used that even has a thicker top gasket)

Cliff Ruggles:
My HP rebuild kits come with a standard thickness Main Body to Airhorn gasket and one that is .015" thicker.

Either one will work provided there is a good fit between the MB and AH.  If not use the thicker gasket and/or flatten the front of the airhorn some for a better fit between the parts......
