Jets with a "D" behind the number

  Is there something different about jets that have a "D" behind the number? What does it mean?

Kenth:
Carter used jets with suffixes. The suffix can indicate the flow characteristics.

Cadman-iac:
  Ok, I didn't know if they were designed differently or what. Thanks for the explanation.
