Which is considered the best HP carb ? and why .The 7043240 buick q-jet or the 7043251 Oldsmobile Q-jet ?  Tom

Cliff Ruggles:
The Buick is superior in several respects to the Old's unit mentioned.  Olds continued to use q-jets with the pre-1969 float arrangement until 1974.  They can be made to work OK for HP use, but we avoid them if there are better choices?
