Determining CFM by the Carb Number
« on: March 28, 2011, 12:06:54 PM »
I have seen plenty of carb ID websites to ID the carbs, but have not found one that lists the CFM's. Is there a way of figuring out the CFM's by the carb number?

I think you would have to have a complete list with all specs. If anything. the gasket between the
baseplate and the main housing would be specific to the bore. If you could differentiate tne specific gasket and determine which carb it was used on, this would tell you what size the carb would be but this would still need a list. Some of this info is hard to find.   The easy way is to just call cliff. (he has those lists and info). I just look through the primary bore and look for the "bump". (at swap meets and yards etc.). Any way there are really only 2 carb sizes for all practical purposes. approx. 750 and 800.

Shamelessly stolen from another web site a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Demand compensation from Communist China for the damage done by the Virus Originating in the Wuhan Lab, released (intentionally or negligently) into the world in 2019 (VOWL-19).  Trillions of dollars, plus direct compensation to individuals for medical bills, and "wrongful death" settlements.
