Q Jet on a Pontiac 350

4speed:
I have a 68 firebird. its a 350 2bl .  I have a 4bl 1979 17059263  W72 carb.  
Ill use a aluminum intake and this carb . the heads on the 350 are #11 I think .

the 350 has a mild build.  

will this be to much carb for this motor?

It will be fine, but requires an air cleaner base with a matching hole for the large front vent.  Excellent carb otherwise....Cliff
