I am installing a QJet on an F250 with a 250 hp I6 300. With the over-size valves, cam, 9.3 cr, etc, and a trick C6, it moves pretty well, and the 3.31 rear gears allow good hauling and cruising, but w/o an OD, I'm looking for ways to improve mpg.
The purpose to the Q.Jet swap, from an eldelbrock 1403, was for mpg, and to retain the hp.
Should I fab up an egr system to bump mpg, or is the work worth it? All feedback is appreciated.
