The big helicoil taps. (1 x 20).

   Are the big taps for the helicoil repair of the 1 x 20 inlet threads now available.
I saw them on another site which will remain nameless (In respect for this site/forum).
I wonder where they are getting them? china?  If so, they 're $195 dollars.
I guess you'd have to do a bunch of repairs to counter the price but if they are no good, then they arrn't
worth anything. Jus wondering....

They aren't worth two squirts of duck poop.  I bought one several years ago, and it's a POS.

I looked in vain for a geniune Heli-Coil tap, and finally found one, it works flawlessly.

The other type was from "Recoil", and imported from Australia, if memory serves me correctly?.....Cliff
