Hey everyone!
I scored a really nice carb in the junkyard:
17083204
2432 FRB
It came off a 1983 Chevy Impala

I was wondering if the FRB meant factory refurbished? The carb looks way too nice to be original, all the plating is correct, linkages are green and it is very clean inside. The baseplate, main body and airhorn are straight as an arrow, no warping. Is this how GM or AC Delco labeled their refurbished carbs? Anyone see this before?
Thanks for the help.

17083204 came on the 1983 Caballero, El Camino, Impala, Camaro, Monte Carlo, Firebird and Grand Prix V8 305 (5.0L) A/T. The date code is the 243rd day of 1982. As for the FRB, I think it's some kind of code. Not sure if it means "Factory Refurbished". Cliff should know. :)
