Can you totally do away with apt on a Race car only

Wondering , If i do away with my power piston and rods on my race car can i also solder up the apt also, do any harm at all???Going with 65 jets.

Proper way of doing this , taking it all apart by taking front cap off retappping for a set screw???

The APT system isn't doing anything when you remove the power piston. Just block the vacuum to PP or drop the piston back in place.....Cliff
