According to my manual, 7028213 was used on most 1968 Chevrolet Models 327cid and 350cid M/T.

The correct carb number for your car and engine would be 7029114 w/o Air Conditioning or 7029116 w/ Air Conditioning and A/T.

As for the correct date, it would have to be somewhere around October of '68 I believe to be correct for your car. :)

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Can you tell me when it was made ? as for an early 69 Camaro it would have been made in 68?

Let me correct myself. The ones I listed are 2 barrels. The one that is correct for your application is carb number 7029202 DH. Sorry for giving the wrong numbers.

The C8 is your date code.

 C- March
 8- 1968

I believe the DY is a plant code. Of no significance probably.
