I found similar quadrajet from 69 Pontiac grand pix at junkyard for 35 bucks.   I'm not sure if this pix has 350 or 400 but id number is 7037576. I'm planning to rebuild it for my stock 70 Buick skylark 350. Should I go for it?

Cliff Ruggles:
Not really a good choice for what you are doing.  The linkage is different, longer fuel filter housing, vacuum fittings, calibration, etc.  I would get a Buick core instead.  They are pretty common, and easier to find than the 67 Pontiac carb.....Cliff

freddyfingaz:
Input gas line, vacuum, choke pull, look same to me. Only thing look different is slash vent valve that is connectes to  accelertor pump. I haven't check throttle linkages.   Calipers is different that's true. I thought I could change caliper to match for my Buick 350. I guess this qjet gonna be my dummy rebuilding to practice rebuild qjet.  Thanks Cliff! By way, I love your book!.

Cliff Ruggles:
The chokes look similiar, but are not the same.

Linkage is completely different.

Fuel inlet on a 1970 Buick is a long housing/filter.

The calibration on the Buick carb is considerably different than the 67 carb.

The Buick 350 carburetors are common, and cheap, I'd spend my time and efforts on one of them instead of "cobbling" up things to use a Pontiac carb on it......Cliff

freddyfingaz:
Yea, I just saw that. I didn't pay attention carefully. Thank you for your input.  I found original quadrajet at eBay. I think I will buy it.
