Vent???

What should I do with the vent port on the front  my 17059253 Q-jet??  Cap it??  It is setup with recipe 3 from the book.

I'm confused on this one.  The front vent (tube in front of the choke housing) needs to be open.  That airhorn may have a slot behind the choke housing, which is not needed, and vents on each side for the POE wells.....Cliff
