Do I need to add idle bypass air?
« on: May 30, 2012, 05:23:11 AM »
I was wondering if you think I need to add idle bypass air to this 17057274 carb? Going on a 455 +.30 Poncho, T1 single plane intake (for now), Crower 60919 cam, Rhodes V-Max, headers, HEI.
I got the new kit from Cliff, and the book, but I didnt see anything there that said if I need it or not. Maybe I missed it?

Yes, follow recipe #3 for the idle system, I'd add .110" idle bypass air for that application if you are not using the hot air choke.  If the hot air choke is being used, about .080".....Cliff
