Title: 17059271 For 462 CID Pontiac?

Greetings, I have a chance to buy a Q-Jet # 17059272.  It's from a 79 TA that had a 301.  Would this be a good carb to use on either my 462 or 470 Pontiac engine?  I already have one from a 76 TA with a kit in it but would like to build one more for either of my engines.  Thank you friends.  Mike

Those are nice units, but need a bit more work than the earlier carburetor,  same end result.....Cliff
