Title: Need carb advice for '79 Firebird, 301

Hello folks, I have a '79 Firebird, 301 and want to replace my 2 bbl w/ a 4 bbl Rochester.  I want to increase my HP w/o totally killing my mpg.  Any suggestions as to which carb to get?  I sure appeciate  your wisdom.

I'd get a Pontiac 301 carburetor, 1979 or 1980 before they went to the CCC models.  They are plentiful, and inexpensive to buy as cores.....Cliff

If you decide on going for 17059271 I will have mine for sale soon here that is in working condition. Its still on my car for temporary purposes..

Hope you find what you need it took me a long time to find my correct carb.
