Title: 68 and older quadrajet bottom plugs
Post by: twilloug on October 22, 2012, 01:26:17 PM
I am hoping someone can help me with this.  Trying to remove 68 and older brass "cups" so I can epoxy them.  Cliff had said to use a 25/32 drill bit to "spin them out".

Drill bit size seems way too big and then which way do you spin them?  Any more details?  Since I have to reuse them I don't think I want to drill a hole in them and put a screw in to pull out, but I could be wrong.  anyone else done one and can help?

Use a bit that just catches them and they will spin right out of the casting....Cliff
