Title: do I need a pulloff for the secondaries?
Post by: wcumagic on November 05, 2012, 01:17:13 PM
like the title says, I put everything back together and the pulloff that came with my carb has only a choke pulloff, not one attached to the secondaries.  Do I NEED one there?

eaven if the carb only has 1 pulloff it should have a linkage going to the secondary airflap

I am apparently missing something then.  Anyone have the linkage or have a suggestion as to how to shape it so I can attempt to make one?   Also where to run it FROM?  thanks

Pics / casting # of your carb would help.

Here's a picture of my 17058228 pre-rebuild.

Thanks for the picture - I oughtta be able to make a linkage like that.

my carb number is 17056259.

I looked at some pics of this carb (17056259) on eBay. Closest I can find is this:

Here is the one on eBay:

 Or......

Are we talking about a Secondary Pull-Off w/ Linkage?

The above I found on Google. May try your search there for the proper linkage. 8)
