Title: Accelerator pump discharge opening
Post by: milkcrateracing on May 19, 2009, 09:04:45 PM
I have a 7042910 which was rebuilt by  the carb shop when they were in Ontario Ca. Throttle shaft has been rebushed surfaces machined yada yada. I am trying to retain the 73 jets and 44B rods. This carb is a large main air bleed carb. I am building it for my ZZ3 motor. I have bushed the main air bleeds down to .068 from .115 in the main body and the air horn. The accelerator pump holes are .075. Do I need to bush them down as well to geet to .026 or .028? I am trying to follow recipe number one.

Look further into the holes, the real openings are much deeper and probably around .026"....Cliff
