According to my manual, it came on the '71 Buick Stage I 455cid engine. Definitely a hard carburetor to find. ;)

And it's definitely the 800cfm version. May try searching for a classic Buick forum and see if someone needs it. Might just get lucky! :)

The 7041240 is not the hard to find unit, they are 7041242.  Still an excellent carb, large cfm, divorced choke, etc......Cliff

I did some more looking ,the date code 2183 makes it and replacement carb , iam guessing for the 455 stage 1;11971 buick.  while iam on here ,whats a good source for a rochester carburetor application manual? Thanks cliff for the info , almost had a rare one there.
