Does anybody know what the name of this part is:
- It is connected to the air horn by a roll pin that also functions as its pivot,
- It receives the screw that hold the secondary rod hanger,
- Its end opposite the roll pin has a "finger" that follows the secondary cam, actuated by the air valve.
Its no big deal... just something that's been bugging me (due to ignorance).

I realize this is an old question, but in any event according to GM literature, it's called the "metering rod lever". See page 12- http://www.tocmp.com/manuals/Carbs/Rochester/QJet/1973/pdf/1973%20manual%20complete.pdf
