Hi - I have an Edelbrock 1910 carb which has a side fuel inlet in my stock 67 GTO. It has a 2" internal paper fuel filter with check valve. I'm re-doing the fuel line for a more stock appearance and want to use a 90 degree banjo fitting to have the inlet come out towards the front of the car. Problem is the 2" filter is now too long (banjo fitting does not have as deep cbore for the filter as the straight fitting does) and I need to use a 1" long filter.
Question is will the shorter filter have any negative impact? Anyone have an idea? Thanks!

welcome aboard. from my experience the filter will work just fine. i can't remember the math but a 90 degree corner would be way more restriction than the fuel filter will ever give you .fwiw

Never tried that particular fitting, but I would try to fit the Marine filter in there. It is slightly longer than the short paper filter, and flows much better. We have them in stock....Cliff
