HI GUYS IM NEW HERE..
I BOUGHT 72 CORVETTE TT 454 AUTO A.C
I FOUND THT I HAVE AN EDELBRCK CARB IN MY VETTE..
I CANT IDENTIFY THIS CARB,
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE TYPE AND MODEL OF THE CARB THAT SHOULD BE WITH 454 MOTOR AUTO CORVETTE?
HOW MUCH CFM WAS IN THE ORIGINAL?
THANKS GUYS HOPE TO SEE COMENTS FROM U=)

well if it is an Eldebrock, than it is probably a fairly new carb. The original is probably supposed to be a Rochestor Quadrajet. I think there is a Corvette web/forum that could help you to find the original carb for the application.
Maybe someone on this site has more info on this.

Edelbrock made quadrajets but discontinued them a few years ago. The 1901 would have been the part number on the Edelbrock Quadrajet for that application....Cliff

I have every expectation the original Q-Jet would have been a "750 cfm" casting.

Correct, the original unit was 750cfm, more than enough for the application....Cliff
