Title: Finally finishing up ...Just some fine points please
Post by: bobsessed on May 16, 2013, 06:48:28 PM
After a few problems that you guys so graciously helped with, I'm about to get this carb back on my GS.  Just need a little more help.
1.  Do I use the tiny hanger wire on the needle valve?
2.  Should I use loctite on the 9 assembly screws holding the carb together?
3. When installed, how much "travel" is normal for the power piston? This one, ('70 Buick GS 350, carb # 7040244) has about 1/4", maybe 5/16".   Thanks again All....

I just wanted to Thank Cliff and all of you that helped me get this thing together. I put the carb on today, and as soon as the fuel made its way in she fired up and ran beautifully.....I'm completely stoked and can;t wait to get it all "dialed in". Thanks again!!!
