i need help on this one ----7041262 date code 0374 this doesn't make sense. thanks in advance

 Probably a Service Replacement carb. 0374 is the 37th day of 1974.

thanks ethan i found the answer on page 17. i was thinking all service carbs had a 9.guess thats what you get for thinking.i'll probably scrap it and use it for parts. thanks again

Most SR carburetors are also lacking the Plant Code when they show a later model year production date......Cliff
