				Howdy all,
I was happy for just a bit this evening as I thought I had put the QJ back together properly, after starting with a cardboard box of pieces parts, I was a bit puffed up!
Then I spotted this.......not sure what it is although I fear it is a new power piston seal.
All help greatly appreciated
Chris

Yeah, I believe you are correct. It looks like a nylon power piston bushing/seal.

				2nd Ethan's comment.
Not the end of the world if you didn't put it in.

				OK,
I will probably put it in, otherwise I will lose sleep over it!  No biggie right? Just dismantle the entire top of the carb....again
Cheers

If your carb is put back together and running well I'd leave it alone myself. But my back is killing me after working on a Corvette yesterday, so there you go.

If only! It isn't back on the motor yet! It might be interesting, a Chevy QJ on a '86 Dodge 360 plow truck living it's life at 8,000 ft plus!
I will probably start another thread in relation to jet size, metering rods etc, supposedly this carb came off a truck working in Denver so possibly it is already modded for high alt.
Cheers
