Cliff,

I'm putting in your HP parts in my Q-Jet. #17059233 1328 cjw in a 79 Pontiac 400 W72, 9:1 CR, XE 274 Cam, Ram IV Heads, 2.5 exhaust. and 3.23 Rear.  I've read your book, and it sounds like I need to go with a softer spring.  You sent me four, is the shorter one the softest?  Logic tells me it is but I want to double check.

Use the orange or light blue spring, they are close in specs, the light blue spring has more coils and slightly higher rate.  I'd lean towards the light blue one for initial testing.....Cliff
