Title: seepage after shutdown
Post by: ronnie on September 21, 2008, 02:23:47 PM
hello, new here......my question.... I have a quadrajet, and after running it, when I shut the motor down, about a thimble full of gas seeps out from the lower gasket onto the manifold.......only a small amount, and then it stops....and of course when I restart the motor, it acts as if its flooded.............is this a float adjustment problem or something else..... thanks, ronnie

If it acts flooded, more than likely the bottom plugs are leaking.  The correct procedure to test them for leaks, and make repairs, is outlined in our book.....Cliff
