Title: stock idle circuit for 7029207
Post by: novadude on January 16, 2014, 05:15:26 PM
Can anyone tell me the factory idle tube size, DCR, and idle air bleed sizes for a 7029207?

Thanks!

The original units were slightly different than the Service Replacements.  The 207 was, and still is highly sought after due to it's pretty generous idle calibration, as they were designed to be used on the 350cid 350hp engines.  Those engines used a pretty big cam in them, and required considerably more idle fuel that the carbs used on the 275 and 300hp 350 engines....Cliff

Thamks.  I was mainly curious as to how GM calibrated the idle circuit for the L46/L82 cam.
