Title: WHAT A GOOD CARB FOR MY PONTIAC

i have a 1966 catalina with a 72 pontiac 350 bored .30 over with a edelbrock rpm intake and cant seem to get good carburation on it any suggestions? i have a quadrajet on it right now but its all jacked up i want to get  A BRAND NEW carb to put on it was thinkin about a edlebrock 600cmf.  this car USE to have balls but had to pull the 389 out ( LONG STORY) would appreciate any input on carbs to put on this thing to get er goin strong again.  THANKS AL

Do you have one of our books?   There is a chapter on carb selection if you are looking at building a Q-jet for it?

I would use a 1976 or later q-jet for that application, converted to electric choke......Cliff
