Title: early SMAB chevy carb with apt in the base plate

Hi all, Im new to your website.I have THE BOOK but Cliff dont give us jetting for a EARLY SMAB.I do one for a 350 chevy 12:1 comp ratio 255 at .050 solid cam.Big number ,i know.I have 40b rod and drilled the SMAB to .085.Should i go with .070 or .078 jet??or between??

By the way I ran a 1970 lemans sport 455 th 400 3.55 to 11.80 4040 pound with gas pump!

Carb number is 17058213,anyone as Idea for base jetting?

 Welcome to CHP!

 Stock primary jets for that carb were .063". Do you need metering rod specs as well?

I look for custom jetting it for chevy 350 12:1 comp ratio and 250 at .050 solid cam.
I have .040b rod and SMAD is drilled .085
