Just read about the lower idle air bleed hole [in the main body] on some Rochester carbs also work as a 'feed' during off idle. As the throttle blade starts to go pass this hole it is subject to manifold vacuum, thus pulling a little fuel out of the idle tube for a smoother transition.
My question is, does the Q-jet use this feature and how will modifying this hole affect the tuning?
