I am looking to put a Quadra jet on a 350 Chevy with 10:1cr, dual plane intake, AFR 180cc heads, Muther Thumper roller cam 235/245 @ .050 .522/.509 lift and 107 lobe centers, 700r4 trans with2400 stall converter, 373 gears in a 70 Chevy 2wd long box. I live at 5000 feet elevation. I have both cores 17058204BHT 17058508 that need rebuilt. Which one would be better for this application. One has the smaller primaries. Once I figure out witch carb is the better one I will strip it down and clean it up to make sure it is rebuildable and then order all the correct and needed stuff from Cliff for the needed recipe to make it work.
Thanks, Dave

Welcome to CHP!
Be best if you called Cliff's shop and give this information to him. Good luck!

Those carburetors are pretty close, I'd build the one that's in the best shape, and convert it to electric choke during the rebuild.
No problem supplying the correct rebuild and tuning parts when you are ready....thanks...Cliff
