Cliff what is the orange paint on this carb? Does it mean that it is a SR carb?

Also, can you supply some photos of what your carbs look like when they are complete? I am interested in seeing some Qjets that are fully restored to factory. I have a couple OHC carbs that I am interested in having you restore.
Thanks
Marc

Most likely NOS, those have the paint and other similar markings on them.....Cliff

The picture I provided is from a eBay auction and the seller claims it to be NOS. Seemed strange to me that it would have orange paint slobbered all over it if it were meant for a production car.
The carb in the picture is a 69 OHC Manual Carb which by itself is very rare especially in NOS form. Would it be acceptable to save all of the pics (the seller did a good job) and send those to you for a reference to restore a carb? This is unless you know of any differences of the carbs for this model and year being different than what is pictured. I would rather stay with your expertise and work.
I'll send you an email for more information and a quote for my project.
Thanks
Marc
